Upgraded 1943 version of the advanced 1941 twin-engine WWII unarmed trainer, built to prepare pilots for the new generation, high performance B-25, B-26, A-26 and P-38 bombers. Deliberately designed unforgiving and difficult to fly and land, it was however fully acrobatic, and reported by many as delightful if flown by the book.
