CFS1 MISSIONS TO CFS2...

I forget guys, do the CFS1 missions easily adapt to CFS2 or do they require rewrites? I know this has been addressed before but I can't seem to find the responses.

Someone converted a bunch of them to CFS2 so they need the conversion process. They're in the library.

Fibber,

This is a guide / tutorial written to assist Mission Builder writers in learning how to convert CFS1 missions to CFS2 through methods of both straight conversion in mission builder and the hand-editing often required to reach that point.

It is being released strictly as a beta version, and encouragement is given for any suggestions and improvements that can be made to it for the betterment of the CFS2 community.

It is meant for those who have a reasonable understanding of mission builder, and is meant as a companion to Cody Coyote's handbook.

THANKS GUYS....

for the life of me I could not remember the answer to that. I remember that there were some good missions in CFS1 that would be good for the ETO install. Have to have a go at them sometime.

from what i've found and read; If you don't have all of the objects in your library, then the stock Zero will be used to replace the missing objects. So if you open the mission in MB and it says that such and such object is missing, take note of it. close MB. then add that object.

i'm sure its covered somewhere. but thats what i've found. normally everythng else will work fine.

Fibber,

I'm working on the 20th Fighter Group right now! That was a CFS1 campaign...and "Beaus in the Sand" for the MTO falls in that same category.
