CFS1 & TeamSpeak2

For some reason earlier today I encountered and issue with CFS1 not working with TeamSpeak2 or better put CFS1 disabled my TS2...in other words one would work seperately but not together. In multiplayer mode all was well until we actually got in the air...it worked fine in the Ready Room and leading up to the Ready Room, but the instant the game started it toggled off the comms....the comms would work only if I alt>tabbed out and the game went into pause mode then I had to click on the TS2 window in order for my push to talk to re-enable but the instant I would click back on the game TS2 was back off the air. I did try TS2 in another flight sim and all worked as expected. So could there be something either toggled on or toggled off in the game itself to cause this? Anyone?

As we discussed, the two are independent programs. It might be the game overriding your transmit switch assignment (Win 7 issue with your joystick?)....just a thought...:salute:

TS2 & CFS1

Yeah that is what is puzzling me too...it has worked like a charm before but now they just don't seem to co-exist and I tried it with another game ( IL-2 ) and it was fine so it beats me....I was tempted to reinstall TS2 but then it was ok with other games...so it may be having to go and uninstall CFS1 and start all over again...I did manage to get all the '' extra '' copies I had some how accumulated out of the Game menu from the Start button...they were located in the Programs in the game directory...all that was there was three seperate games in a tree that I had to back out one at a time and delete as I went and they had all those old .exe files in there also....:salute:

i have to ask,
what key are you using for
"push to talk"?

since i have never heard of this problem,
my guess would be that it's a w7 issue.
but, what do i know?

also, do you run cfs in full screen mode?
ie, alt+enter or maximized window mode?

I think I found the issue it was the sound card setting in TS2 it was on some generic thing I didn't recognize and when I reset it all seems well but its not Sunday yet and it seems like every Sunday its a new issue funny how that happens like the time you helped me set up the buttons on my joystick and all I did was set it down under the computer still connected and untouched out of harms way yet when Sunday rolled around it wouldn't work.....and I use left ctrl as push to talk and when I try to assign that key in the joystick (button 2) TS2 doesn't recognize it or any other key for that matter...got Logitech on the horn an after about an hr of fiddling around (we even set up my middle mouse to talk) still not go seems like this stick only configures itself to the game and that's it... no dual capability..even though it supposedly has that option (assigning keyboard keys) beats me...another reason I 'spose to go to the CH stick....ggrrrrrr
