CFS2 And Multiple Controllers

Hello Fellow CFS2 Players,

I recently upgraded my flight sim hardware to a separate joystick, throttle, and rudder pedals.
These I have configured into one virtual controller using VJoy, HIDhide and Joystick Gremlin.
Some of you may be aware of these apps. While other games seem to work fine with this
setup, CFS2 does not.
Basically CFS2 doesn't see the virtual controller, but it has all three flight devices (VKB Left
Handed, VKB Right Handed and CH Pedals), listed under controller type in the controller
assignment window in game. You can only choose one of the three to assign axis and
other actions to.
Has anybody been able to get the aforementioned apps to work with CFS2? Or, for the
same token, has anybody been able to get multiple controllers to work with CFS2 through
some other means? Any help will be appreciated. Although I fly other simulators here
and there, the main reason I wanted upgrade my gear is to enjoy them in CFS2.

Thank you,
Gonzo1177

I doubt this will be any help, but I had a similar issue with the ThrustMaster Cougar MFD controllers -> https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/thrustmaster-mfd-cougar-controller-with-cfs2.123064 . Shortly after I posted that thread, what I ended up doing was to use the utility "JoyToKey v6.5", the ONLY way that I could use the controllers with CFS2 (as the game doesn't see/recognize them at all). This is how I've been flying CFS2 since I posted that thread several years ago.

And a WEIRD thing, I ALSO fly Flight Simulator 2000 Professional Edition. FS2000 seems to see/recognize them them just fine, so I didn't have to use "JoyToKey". STRANGE (?), as FS2000 is older than CFS2.

Thrustmaster have their own software to link multiple devices. I have no need for it so I haven’t tested if it recognises other manufacturers devices. Here’s the link anyway.

Cheers
Aussie
