• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Where is the CFS2.cfg file? It's Not in my CFS2 Main Directory. I need it for for foxes Korea:

To avoid the "exploding jets" problem with jet aircraft in CFS2, you must make the following manual change to your CFS2.cfg file, which is located in the main CFS2 directory:

- Open the CFS2.cfg file in Notepad.
- Scroll down to the [REALISM] section.
- Change 'StressDamage=True' entry to read 'StressDamage=False'.
- Save and close the file. That's it.

This option cannot be accessed from any in-program menus, and can be changed back manually or left in place permanently.

Thanks,

Jack

Jack...

cfs2.cfg will open with Notepad. You must be trying to open the wrong file by mistake. cfs2.cfg, not cfs2.exe.

If you are having a problem finding the file in the CFS Main Directory, right click a blank section of the screen while in that directory and select Arrange By Type. That will put the files in an order that will make it easy to find the cfs2.cfg file.

Once you find the cfg file, right click it and select Open With from the menu. Then select Notepad as the program, and check the box that says Always Open With This Program. After you have done this once, the any cfg file will open in Notepad when you double click it,

Let me know how you fare. :engel016:

I am not at my desktop now....on the road with my mobile, so I can't send you anything. :kilroy:
