CFS2 Display Problem

I fired up CFS2 for the first time since acquiring a wide-screen monitor. The image is totally fragmented by large triangles and the aircraft are missing big chunks. Also, the screen seems to be in "letter-box" format (a black band across the top).

I've been using FS9 on this same monitor for months and it shows perfectly.

Is CFS incompatible with wide screens? Is there a fix for this?

CFS2 should work fine on any screen but CFS2 don't have a wide scree setting from what I recall so with a wide screen it may be best to use Windowed Mode. (ALT+Enter to cycle from full screen to windowed and back to full screen if needed.)

I had a similar problem a few years ago.All my other sims worked fine but not CFS2.All I had to do was upgrade my video drivers.

Thanks fellas! I tried the windowed mode, but the problem persisted. Then I updated the video driver and that was the fix. :salute:

Interesting that the previous driver was fine with my new monitor for CFS3 and FS9, but not for CFS2.
Ah, the mysteries of code! :icon_lol:
