If anyone can remember the Opening film before installation of JF "Dambusters" There was a load of add ons in one video, most of them looked CFS2, It started out with a WWI Addon, Then Battle of Britain, then Korean War, Then Harrier Missions. In the 7 years I have had Dambusters I have never learned the names of these other add ons. If anyone knows the name of any of these addons, or similar, Regardless Just flight or not, Please say,
Thanks,

Jack

There was Mosquito Squadron, Mustang Vs Fw-190, Pearl Harbor, Migs and Sabres, DamBusters, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight...

Combat Aces was the WW1 one, Korean Combat Pilot and Sabre vs MiG were two Koreans, and Harrier Jump Jet was the Falklands. The Battle of Britain was a CFS3 addon. As far as I know, all of them are still available from Just Flight, often bundled with CFS2/3 as appropriate.

Yes - I forgot BBMF! Some were a tie in with Flight One, and others, like more recent releases, with Aeroplane Heaven. Pearl Harbor would be my choice if restricted to a single addon. It's great.

I bought it 6 years ago and the planes weren't on the disk!!! everything was installed, when I pressed fly now it said could not find P-40.

Yes, Midway was from Abacus. I think the problem with the Pearl Harbor P-40 was the mdl file. There is (was?) a patch at Just Flight, and there's a mdledit program, maybe from Martin Wright, to use on others with the same trouble. I have both somewhere.

I highly recommend the Dam Buster and Pear Harbor addon. They are great additions to this Sim.

Already got that, love it, How do you get to bomb aiming view again? the one where you see the guys hand with the catapult,

Jack

I do not like Dam Buster, because not have breaking parts!

The best is the P-51vsFw190A

:gameon:

But that Uses CFS1 scenery, Go to Rami's Wetpaint site, its free and better scenery and planes, it is Identical to the JF one,

In answer two your question as to the cfs2 addons their was the ww1 addon called combat aces and the other addon of on i can recall is pearl harbour

Hi all,
There was a problem with the P40 and XP.The model needed to be run through ConvertMDL to work.It was origionally made for Windows 98 where it worked without conversion.I believe it was eventually fixed for the disc version.

Bump and old thread, glad I found it.

I won from Flightsim.com way back in 2002 Pearl Harbor from Just Flight, I remember installing it years ago and it would not work, probably cause I did not look for the Win-XP update on their site. Even though I'm on Win7, I figured it was a good idea to get the update so I did. Will try it out shortly, glad to hear it was a good add-on. (maybe not compared to Crashaz's PH2, but a lot easier to install!)

I should look to see if they still run those contests, I won them like 4 times I think....LOL!

I'm looking for a sanely priced copy of Combat Aces. I want to bust zeppelins. I will not pay close to 100 bucks off Amazon because they are an alleged "collectors item". We're gouged in the necessities of life, I'm not going to be gouged for recreation. I don't want to "collect" the thing, I want to fly it. Anyone know of a source, PM me.

Thanks

Bones
