CFS2 Ships in FS2004

Is there a list or info on what if any ships from CFS2 can be used in FS2004 as AI, Static or otherwise ? There is a lot of nice WWII stuff out there that would add to scenery for that era, picked up some FS2004 stuff, adding in CFS2 ships would create a vast variety of shipping for the war years in places like Guadalcanal in Iron Bottom Sound, or maybe some Atlantic convoys, Destroyer patrols.

T,

I recently converted Wolfi's objects to FS9 library objects that can be placed as scenery, including his ships. Click my sig pic below to find them. I was going to do more, still plan to, but am on a self-imposed sabatical from FS at the momment due to one-to-many FS failures. Don't know how long for, maybe permanent, but I still pop-in by to keep my interest going.

These appeared a couple days ago at Flightsim. They work well in Fs9, I plan to use them as AI.

Just downloaded your conversion files and the German Warships were the ones that got me thinkn'about this in the first place. I was thinking about Usio's ships those are some beautius works of art, sure would like nice in some Pacific locals. I picked up a couple of files by Erwin Welker over at SimV he has taken Usio's models and textures, adds panel, sounds, etc. and makes them pilotable in FS2004. If this works (I have not installed one yet) then I would assume they could be used as AI ships or at the very least static objects with out any change (original file no panel or sound) ? Going to give it a shot and see, I'll let you know what I find.

I've been looking more for static WWII era ships and subs to use with EZ Scenery. Haven't had much luck with it.

Willy you're right, scenery is also lacking as well, we have all these World War II era aircraft, (works of art really), unless you want to fly them in CFS,CFS2 or 3 we don't have the environment they had to fly in (and no I'm not talking about bombs bullets and explosions). If it wasn't for Cees Donker and a few others, we'd have no Euro scenery at all and with the exception of the Midway-Coral Sea package the PTO never happened. Flying a P-39 or a Zeke over an airport lined with 747s, 737s, or no Henderson Field for a Wildcat to land at after a long patrol don't feel right to me.

GW3 is a great start.
May I recommend some of the sceneries by John Stinstrom. WW2 Midway Island. US blimp Navy Air Stations.
A package called Tinian 1945. Huge scenery and AI of the Marianas Islands. Avsim.
D Ware Corsair package. Solomon Islands.
Yamamoto 1942 by Dave Bitzer. Solomon Islands.
Bill Lionheart's Operation Valkrie package. Payware.
Harry Levy 1945 package by Bruce Kennewell. MTO. Great scenery and AI. Avsim.

I reinstalled EZ Scenery onto my comp (haven't had it on this new one until today) and played around with it and Wolfi's Library at an out of the way S. Pacific Island. I think it's finally clicked with me. What I did was a kind of late 40s/early 50s thing on this island group using "surplus" military vehicles and some of Wolfi's Asian buildings. I'm sending it out to the other members of Merc Air for testing later.

Just showing how some of Wolfi's Library Objects look in FS9 in this work in progress shot. Going for the post WWII look here.
