CFS3 ERROR AND HAPPENING IN ETO PTO OFF AND R

Could anyone help me please I have developed a problem with my CFS3 and the addons when I double click the Icons and it gets to the Splash screen I get the message that there is a problem causing the programme to stop working and this is happening with all the addons it seems to affect anything related with CFS 3 and OFF all of my other applications are working okay.

I tried reinstalling CFS3 but to know avail I have even gone to system restore but no joy could anyone help me on this, I suspect it to be a.dll file but it is nowing what one it is, whether it is the no CD crack I cannot say. I have uploaded a couple of images to give you and idea.

I don't know quite what causes this, but mine does it too. Usually after a long layoff. Some sort of time out issue. For me anyhow I just restart the program and then have to reset the screen resolution and I'm back in business.

As johannesl has said, resetting your screen resolution from CFS3config.exe could fix it - just remember to close the config from File/Exit, not the red X button or any settings changes are lost.

If that doesn't work, go to your Appdata folder - just type %appdata%\microsoft in an Explorer address bar or at the Start menu if you're using Win7 or Vista, this will display the appdata folders for your CFS3 installs - and delete uisel.xml from the relevant folder. Then restart CFS3. You'll need to set screen resolution etc in-game after this.
