CFS3 ETO and MAW install problem

Hi all,

I'm having troubles installing CFS3 ETO and MAW. The first installer runs fine, the make ETO and Make MAW creators, but the batch file that makes the directory and copies over doesn't run at all for either MAW or ETO.

Then the second installer runs just fine. It's just the batch file that doesn't work at all. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Here are my PC Specs:

Dell XPS8300

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600CPU @ 3.40GHz

8GB Ram

ATI RADEON 5670 with 4095MB of memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

And my anti-virus and firewall is Comodo

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

Hi Hairyspin

I'm not getting any error message. It won't load. I'm going to try again, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks,

Chris

Do you have all the parts in the correct folder when you start the installation? There are fairly specific instructions in the read me.

Start by turning off the UAC (User Access Control): right-click on the flag-shaped icon at bottom right on your desktop and open Action Centre, you'll get it there.

I watched the video by RCAFTailspin on Youtube on how to install. I followed the instructions to the letter on there.

I'll certainly try that HairySpin

when i do cfs3 clean it loads as is ,,,and sets up where it shoul dbe in win8 ...user accts, make sure the slider is off to zero

however turning off ac is key and make sure folders are open for correct visuales ///folder options , open view and make sure youve checked " show hidden files and folders

also make sure all updates and all correct-system

if this works the rest easy .......pto, etc....eto.....

Yeah, I gave that a try. It didn't work. I saw on another post that you'd combined CFS3 ETO with the default CFS3?

ETO is on top of default CFS3 with the 2 CFS3 updates. Also see the sticky of Win 7 install although I just use the win7 XP Pro sp3 comparability option
