CFS3 in Vista

Hello guys, I'm getting a new computer in the next few days and I was wondering if CFS3 will work in Vista Business okay?

Stoney, it should, but I'm not 100% certain about the Business version.

Hi stoney,

I've been using Vista for several months now with CFS3 and add-ons and it works Ok as long as you do a few actions first:

1. Run programme in compatability mode as XP SP2
2. Run programme as Administrator
3. Turn off the User Account Control. A bit of a pain as once selected you have to restart the PC, and Vista will on occasion nag you about turning the UAC back on.

Apart from that you should be good to go. Vista does place the Applications Data folder in a different location to XP, but you only need that for certain customisations.

Running it on Vista Ultimate 64b smooth as silk with no problems whatsoever.
I don't know about multiplayer though.

I have been running vista for a couple of years. I had some problems but the people here helped me get things working. Has anyone had any problems with ETO, Maw, PTO, and tackir4 after installing vista sp2?
