CFS3 Issue: Can't get rid of this

Good evening people.
I'm looking for help, tried SEVERAL attempt to get through this problem but i keep getting the error: cfs3config could not detect any directx8-capable video cards.
Everything is up to date, directx, game (3.1). i get such errors ONLY with 64bit versions OS, i actually HATE it, and i swear that i will put a 32bit for life from now on. (i am a vintage gamer, i don't need too much power ^.^ )
Anyway.. can someone please help? i registered on this forum because, after YEARS of loving flight sims and never had opportunity to enjoy it with other people, i wanted to try it.

Any help will be appreciated.

1. For me your problem was caused by Ankor shader for some reason I deleted those 2 files and the folder and put it back on and it fixed it. Try that. Delete the shader pack and try the game to see, then but it back on

2. Did you install direct x, are you sure it is on your system? put dxdiag in the search box to check the version.
