CFS3 Scenery

Does anybody know how to improve the look of the CFS3 scenery? Mine is displaying color patches when I take off and theyre visible from the ground up. Im currently running a n Intel G33/G31 video card. The scenery looks much like a rainbow of colors rather than green scenery, any advice anyone?

I remember having this prob a long time ago with an NVidia card, and as I recall I think I had to update the driver for it? Do a google on drivers for your card. Sometimes a newer driver may not be as good as the old one - just have to experiment.

I had similar problem with an nVidia card, and this was after doing the 256 mod in composite texture (or scenery) file (long time ago :redf: )

OK, found it : in <CFS3>\Terrains\terrdata.zip open compositetexturebudget.xml and type :
<Budgets PatchPixelDim="128" MinPatchDimUseThumb="4096">

instead of 256.

(I assume some mod you have put it at 256)

Hope it helps.
