CFS3 turns off when im in the middle of somthing.

When I try to equip bombs to the B-29 add-on, or now even try to go to quick combat it turns the game off and exits to my computers home screen. I think it might have to do with the add-on aircraft I put on and tried to put on. Why is it doing this?
 
sounds like a weapon, pylon, drop tank, etc is missing and causing the crash.
check through new ac added and see if all weapons, etc, have been installed.
 
Pull out whatever aircraft you you added before it quit working,make sure the aircraft file (xml)
belongs to one of 3 countries,USA-Germany or Britain. Certain craft are modified for the NEK
expansion,(France,Japan,etc.) If you want to keep the craft without the NEK expansion,just change
the "Country" status to one of the 3. Or,if your messing with files and get one little-iota wrong,
this will blank out your game to windows also. Also pull any file you were working with such as;
weapons,missions or any vehicles or ships also. This will help you determine where the problem
was at. Hope this helps.

I dont think the "Atom" bombs in CFC are good anymore either last time I checked.
 
Ok im starting from scrach, i uninstalled it and installed it again, i also have tried to take out every thing i tried to add. Now how do i add aircraft that i can use and that will not crash the game?

no simple answer to that!
ya just learn what too look for when they do crash the game.
we (designers) often forget things when uploading our work.
one thing that will cause a crash that I forgot to mention is the aliased sound file.
that was the first thing I did wrong years ago.
 
I will keep trying, but what websites are the best for downloading aircraft for CFS3 and the safest?
