Changing default configuration and Joystick

I have a question on the configuration and joystick defaults in PHASE 3 game. With every new pilot I have to go into the control panel and select my profile and joystick controller. It always comes up with "mine" and the configuration and simp as the joystick.

I forgot several times, too excited, and crashed on takeoff, killing the pilot. So I have been several one,.

Can I change the defaults? I have looked through the App. Data and nothing jumps out at me.

Yes edit it in game (press esc) as long as you save it as "Mine" it should stick.

You can change what the settings do, but the name must be "Mine" but it should be saved, and reusable.

Change, Change what ??

It matters not if Joe is Flying an SE5a, or John is Flying the Strutter

Theoreticaly there are NO trim adjustments once airborne

You May have the ability, they Never Did

Only thing you can change in Workshop is the Degree of Difficulty

Here I thought I was a cheater :ernae:

I had to change the profile to fit my keypad ,Joystick and rudder pedal combo. I have used this profile in CFS3, MAW and ETO.

It did not recognize my Joystick so there was no control of the palne, it only crashed

You had the joystick connected, before you started the game, and it wasn't recognised?
What joystick/model is it?

I built a FW190 cockpit, I am using a Tarmec K13 stick, Hoffman rudder pedals and other assorted devices.

Jeezs - that's incredible! You built that yourself?
And that D9 model in the shelf looks great, too. I like the "Dora", and the Tank versions, too.

But for the technical side: this is no "typical" simmer's flight stick really. Hope, you find a solution, or someone, who can help round here.

I found a thread on Check Six site which had drawings. So I had to modify them a little, they were off some, but very good. I have allot of reference materials to correct what I needed. It still is off some, so a project at work. May just have to build another one someday.

The cockpit is a FW190A, painted in the A-8, I used the Moritz scheme with the chevrons.

I did what Polovski said and saved it as "mine" It seems to work so far.
