Changing my email address concern

I want to change the email address for my account now that the AOL domain is no longer working.

My concern is that if I attempt to change the email address myself I will lose access to this account.
That concern was raised by the Forgot Password or Password Reset thread.

The concern raised in that thread is another reason I wish to change my email address. I can no longer change my password since the AOL domain no longer functions. Not complaining just accepting reality.

Do Admins have access to change the email manually for me?

Did you use your email address as part of your sign-in procedure?

Start a conversation/PM with @Captain Kurt as he runs the SOH Help Desk asking him to change your email address (and password if necessary). He will get you sorted ASAP.

I would suggest that anyone having issues with AOL, AT&T or any of the other ISPs causing problems when trying to access SOH should get a different email address (like a Gmail account etc.) and then change their account settings accordingly.

I recently changed mine. It was pretty painless really. If you activate MFA (multi factor authentication), that is another layer of security added. if and when I log in from another machine, I have to authenticate on my mobile using the M$ authenticator app.
