Channel Crossing.

Dave Garwood's Hawker Hunter series are the most photogenic models in FS9, period! I cannot take a bad screen with them they are just first rate.

But this was the first time I had flown his Hunter since my old computer crash in May. All I can say is......:Sha-eet"! :jump:

On my old system, Dave's Hunters, though beautiful, were frame hogs and I only flew them for screens. Can you image my delight in taking off at Abbeville and flying a Channel crossing to Mansten at a constant set 30fps, sliders full right, everywhere? :ernae::applause::friday:

It flies like a charm, but landings, as usual, can be touchy, as always for me in a jet. But I didn't bust any shocks or do a Panther flamer, so all's well that ends well.

FS9 is still the bee's knees! :ernae:

Hi Cazzie,
The Hawker Hunter is possibly the most beautiful a/c ever built. The lines of this a/c just seem to flow like liquid silk.

I frequently fly the trainer in FS. There are 2 great RNLAF paints for it by Hans Janssens. On my old pc all my terrain textures got blurry when I flew this one. Now it does not even put a dent in my frame rates.:mixedsmi:

Gotta love the Hunter!

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....For you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Do not meddle in the affairs of cats for they are subtle and shall pee on your computer!

Ive loved the Hunters ever scince they came out although i do get FR stutters and the blurry texture thing'y, most planes that slow down my system get deleted but the Hunter is just to beautiful to lose, but im upgrading my system in the new year and the Hunter will be first out of the hanger when i do.
cheers ian

You know, I shall do that very thing. I have a separate install of Silver Wings over FS9, sounds like a righteous place for your scenery Ian. :applause:
