Charles G. Kalko Airport

Charles G. Kalko Airport in Honesdale, Pennsylvania scanery. After doing SKYTOP for Vin and flying around Eds great Downwood and White Birch I began spending more time in the area and found a neat airport that I could work on some scenery techniques I have been struggling with and still keep it in the area. Charles G. Kalko Airport is the one I decided on. In real life it is a private, well kept airfield that sits on 400 acres. It only has a runway, fuel and one hanger, but it is a nice large layout on the photoreal and I figured it would be good to help me work on my ground poly work, which it did. Since I spent the time on ground polys, I figured I might as well try my hand again and winter textures, one thing I could never get right in the past, well I think I have it down now, practice, practice, practice, LOL. Still a bit to do, seasonal ground poly textures, autogen tweaking, etc, but almost there. here are a few images.

I concur with Ed. It does look magnificent!

No to go learn how to do ground polys. :running:

Beautiful, Michael! :applause:

Pennsylvania is loaded with so many tiny picturesque airstrips, particularly in the Poconos region. Here's hoping for more PA scenery in the future!

Looks great Michael:applause:
I'm downloading nothing now until I collect my new pc and install my new FsX gold sometime this week. Then I'll be getting this for sure.
