COULD ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY HAVE THE CFS4 1940 FILES AS ALTHOUGH I AM ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THEM I AM HAVING PROBLEMS EXTRACTING THEM AS IT KEEPS SAYING INVALID ARCHIVE I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BUT TO KNOW AVAIL, IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD BE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL.

I KNOW THAT ETO IS THE TOPS BUT I JUST STILL WANTED TO TRY THESE FILES OUT.

It is a early expansion, before the ones we have now were built..
I great first effort, :salute: :salute:

It was a stand-alone package installed over a stock CFS3 that included a lot of features that were way ahead of their time. Great eye candy and sound effects. Lots of new facilities. Sounds triggered as effects. Trouble was it was buggy so you need to be a good tweaker of CFS3 to get it going well. It was just put out without enough checking on a standard install.

When I had it running it was great, touble is it was usually non-functional and I'd have to keep reinstalling it.
 
Is there somewhere to still download it from? I would be interested in taking a look at it.

Its in the archive of the library here at SOH. Garykidman says it is corrupted but possibly it was just his downloaded version that was corrupted. Give it a try anyway. You can do a search of the CFS3 archive by the authors name, it's Charlie.
