In small doses. . .like individual airports where the scenery designer can take the time to properly color correct the image, then add proper autogen and either default buildings or custom buildings, the results can be very impressive. . . .but the bulk photoreal scenery offered by some companies can suffer considerably due to the season the images were taken, the simple amount of tiles necessary to cover a particular area and the time it would take to color correct each and every tile to bring it up to at least close to realistic colorations, etc. Sometimes not worth the price, no matter the price, lol.Fly high and fast as much or more than low and slow but still never really understood the appeal of photoreal scenery - looks washed out and hand painted in water colors to my eye - but to each his own.
