...but there are no planes to give this field a little extra...Anyone feel like doing a few Chelveston repaints of the WOP B-17? Chuck?

I could do it myself if there was a paintkit for the WOP B-17? Is there one here at the OH?

Hey Cees, I came across an interesting bit of trivia!

In the opening credits of the film "Twelve O'Clock High", the Air Force Technical Advisor was John H. deRussy, Colonel, USAF, Group Operations Officer, 305th Bomb Group, Chelveston, England, 1942.

How about that?

P.S. Thanks for the preview!

Finding a good profile from a Chelveston B-17F is not that easy. Can anyone help me with this one?

Hi Cees!:wavey:

I've got what you're looking for, but I can't get it scanned until Saturday evening. Should be in your Inbox sometime Sunday. Also have two profiles for G models if you're interested.

OOPS!!

The missus just reminded me that we have a prior commitment on Saturday evening. I'll try to get this scanned on Sunday evening. Sorry for the delay.

Hey Mark,

I took a look at the paintkit by Laughing Terror, but this one is in no way comparable with other paintkits I worked with. Maybe we should ask Chuck Lawsen who has a great deal of experience in this field. I'll PM him.
