One of my favorite Christmas movies is "The Christmas Tree"; also known as "When Wolves Cry"

William Holden starred in it. I don't think it's ever been released on DVD though.

I think I'll stick with the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol staring the Lockhart family and Alexander Waverly.

"Three hazelnuts for Cinderella"

I could do without it, but watching it is kind of a family tradition. xP

Must watch Christmas movies are always National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and Scrooged.

There are also certain movies we watch at the same time every year that have a bizarrely festive vibe due to the setting but they certainly aren't Christmas movies, like Die Hard or Gremlins.

Polar Express

My Mom and I always watch Polar Express every Christmas.
Sometimes we go to the park and watch a movie there.
And have a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
:wavey:

Christmas movies definitely set the mood for Deb and I. Tonight we watched "It's A Wonderful Life" and will watch it a number of times before Christmas Day rolls around. Also on the Christmas Movie Must Have Play List:

Polar Express
A Christmas Story
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Carol...the animated one with Jim Carrey as old Ebinizer
A Christmas Carol....the one with George C. Scott
The Nightmare Before Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas...the animated version with Jim Carrey
Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer

Yep...definitely a Christmas Movie House here. Lots of movies, lots of hot chocolate, lots of fresh baked Zucchini Bread and Banana Nut Bread (I baked two loaves of zucchini bread today).

The 1987 feature film "Planes, Trains, & Automobiles" starring John Candy and Steve Martin. A bittersweet holiday movie. Candy at his best.
