.... today while walking out of my house I saw a real treat for me. I first heard the engines sounds and located the source as coming out of the East and flying due West. It was the venerable C-47 "Second Chance". What a beautiful sight to behold her passing over my house at minimum flight level. Everything was visible .The distinctive "D8" and D-Day color markings were clearly visible. Beautiful to see . Even my wife ( not a real affectionado" ) came to ask me "did you see that plane ?" Real post X-mas treat to me.
