I have a question about the claims. Here is my latest one.

Flying: Sopwith Camel. On this day claims: ;1 ;Alb DV . ;engaged a flight of two black tailed Albatross D.V's north of the Couderkerque airfield. Engaged the leaders wingman and fired several short burts at it, with the rounds striking the wings and engine. Several large fragments of Frabric were observed to come off at which the enemy aircraft went into a dive and crashed into the sea at around ten to fifteen miles of the Couderkerque airfield at approximatelly 11:11 a.m.. Witnessed by: Lance Brown -Captain Status : Pending ;80

What does the pending status mean?

And yes I got shot down on my first mission. Belive me, I learned my lesson fast!:Banane01::hititbanana: I was to much like this banana fellow.

My guess is the higher the pending number the higher the chance of having it confirmed.

But I've just had an 80 and a 54 confirmed. Maybe the number is the base-score out of 100 and a die-roll calculates the remaining (a 100 die-roll).

So, a score of 80 = 20 needed from a 100 die-roll. Very good chance of confirmation.

Score of 54 = 46 needed from a 100 die-roll, so about a 50/50 chance of confirmation.

Pure guesswork though.

Were did you see that "pending"?
It's a bit hard for Germans to follow all this, as we can't fill in claim reports in the same near-to-perfect English style, I'd say.

So I did mine like this:
1 Camel hit and destroyed; plane crashed south-east of Baiseux airfield at 10.34 h.

But haven't got confirmations yet.
