• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Or anything that could have ruined your day. I have a couple, but for another day. I know this is one of those no sendun pictures, but if I can download it for desktop I don't see the problem. If not delete it.

There is no reason to panic! :)

This was a photo taken at Oshkosh, just as the LB-30/B-24A was pulling up and away, while conducting the missing man formation. The camera zoom/setup, makes it appear that the aircraft are much closer together than they really are. From the angle that I was watching it at the time, the bombers cleared each other by at least a hundred feet - it looks quite intriguing, seeing a big four-engine bomber peal away similar to a fighter. - It is an amazing photo however!

Yeah, I think I posted that picture back before the "big server crash".
There really are some good visitor pictures on EAA's Airventure site.
