I've got FS9 up and running now on the new comp. I made a new install and copied my aircraft and scenery over.

There were some detailed cloud textures about a year or so ago that everyone was raving about. I think the author's name was Diego. Anyone have an idea of them and where they could be found? Got to put the faster cpu and more memory to work now.

Here ya go Willy ..........

Pete.

Thanks guys. That wasn't the cloud set I was thinking of, but I'm trying them anyway.

The set I had in mind has textures from low resolution to very high resolution. I used the low resolution on my old comp to try to get my framerates out of the bilges during bad weather.

Willy, I have the Pablo Diaz file refered to above (hdev2.zip), and it comes with five folders, labeled VERY HIGH, HIGH, MEDIUM (32 bit), MEDIUM (DXT3), and LOW. It's what I have currently in my FS9 install. I think that is the one you're looking for...

Thanks Paul. I'm using the Very High set and they've worked out excellent so far. On my old comp, the Low set would bring it to it's knees in any kind of weather that involved clouds.
