CLS Announces MD81/82 for FsX!

As much as I like the MD-8x...why, CLS, why?

Leonardo and Coolsky both have the larger, older 8xs covered already. Why not make a 87, 90 and 95 instead and complement instead of trying to replace?

I think it´s common in the addon developer world ...
See the 757, 767, P51, etc ...

Really don´t know why, as the market for example to a 737-200 native fsx has a big GAP yet!! I would pay a hundred bucks for a good implementation of one!!!

for tubes, CLS is the way to go for me. They look great, are good on FPS, and don't pretend they're something they're not. Their FMCs work, too.

Their FSX versions were all ports but fairly good running ports. Will be interesting to see how this first of their native models does.

I don't know if I would pay $100 for a native 737-200.. it depends on how good it is. I have no problems handing PMDG that kind of money, but looking at the quality of these guys models I would be kind of leary. I will say though this MD-82 looks way better in the VC than their previous work. So maybe this is a turning point for them? I also agree with the posts above I would have loved a MD-95/Boeing 717. I have been wishing for one of those for a long time. I don't think they will be able to compete with the Maddog MD-80. All the reviews and such I have read about that have been great. Guess we will see when it is finished.

it is announced as FSX only :jump: sounds promising like native FSX

Unfortunately to allow for great new developments, we had to made the choice for FSX only. This does mean however that this product will be DX10 compatible.
the Iberia shot looks good so far
