Hello everyone;

It's been a while and hope all is well. Is there an edit to make the transition between water and land seem more realistic? Any help would be great!

Thanks

:kilroy:Grover1,

You are missing the contents of CFS3's Terrains2 folder.

You need the CAB8.CAB file. It's on Disc 2 of the game.

1. Insert your CFS3 Disc 2.

2. Open the disc for files, not to play.

3. Create a new temporary folder somewhere easy to access.

4. Copy the CAB8.CAB file from the disc to the new temporary folder.

5. Extract the contents of the CAB8.CAM file into this new folder.

6. Once you have done that, there will now be a terrains2 folder.

7. Look in this terrains2 folder for two zip files named cfs3hyl.zip and cfs3msh2.zip, and copy them into the Combat Flight Simulator 3 main game folder, into the folder named Terrains2.

8. After you have done that, delete the two files named cfs3hyl.zx and cfs3msh2.zx that are in the game's Terrains2 folder.

9. The next time you start the game, you will have shorelines.

NOTE: The folder in the CAB8.CAB file is name terrains2. The folder in the game is named Terrains2. Don't get them confused.

The difference in folder names might be why the proper files aren't installed into the game, but I'm not sure. The problem has been there forever.

I hope this helps.:d
