Combat Flight Simulator BOB Start Problem

When I try to start Combat Flight Simulator BOB I get a black screen and error message: Image "common_screens\splash.bmp" cannot be loaded. How do I fix this?

Is this a first install, reinstall or an existing one? It's saying you have a missing file but that one's definately in the download so am a bit puzzled!

Combat Flight Simulator BOB Start Problem

This is a reinstall, from Windows XP to a new Windows 8 PC. I used a flash drive to transfer files and was not able to transfer all files. Maybe I should delete the program file and do a complete download from SOH and reinstall.

THANK YOU PAT !!! I did a complete download and reinstall and Combat Flight Simulator BoB works normally. As you said, it was a missing file.
