What would any decent concours be without Italian cars..? Special theme this year was '100 years Alfa Romeo'.

Lancia Fulvia Zagato:

Some outstanding shots!I was really pleased to hear that Alfa is returning to the American market next year, they have been a favorite of mine for years! The Supersonic is truly a beautiful car and I can't wait to see an 8C or Brera in showrooms here! Thanks for sharing the pics!:applause:

The Fiat 8V 'Supersonic' won the 'best of show' award.

:)

As I scrolled I was about to mark that as my favorite of the lot, other pix from the other post included. That is one beautiful car with gorgeously designed curves.

The Fiat 8V 'Supersonic' won the 'best of show' award.

:)

There were quite a number of special 'Supersonic' styled vehicles around, aside from the FIAT 8V IIRC they did an Alfa 6C, a Jaguar and probably the most evil of the lot, an AC428 version.
Equal "Best of Show" for me, the Alfa 8C Monza and the 8C 2300.

Well I'm glad I wasn't in the jury as the number of possible winners was just too much! The 8C 2300 did win in it's own category, as did the Alfa 2600TZ.
The jury for this year's event included names like former Porsche designer Harm Lagaay, Tom Tjaarda (Designer of the Tomaso Pantera), Lorenzo Ramaciotti (Head design for Fiat) and Fedde Talsma (Volvo).

Good looks aren't enough to win though; a verified history, matching numbers and original parts are equally important.

Here's a slightly better photo of the front end of the Supersonic:
