Configuration Specs for higher end PCs

Having just upgraded to win 10 and with a new VR capable video card, I am wondering what should be the config settings in cfs3config,exe. Specifically under
overrides
Texture info
Texture limits
z bias.

Last time I looked at that was about 6 years ago!

Current specs

OS: Win10 Professional 64 bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) 17-2600 CPU 2 3.40GHz 3.70GHz
RAM 16Gb DDD3 (2 X 8Gb)
MB: Asus M4N68T-MV2
Vid Card: NVidia Gforce GTX 970
C Drive: Crucial CT128M4SSD2 128 GB Internal Solid State Drive
D Drive ITB Samsung HD103SJ 32M 7K OEM
E Drive: 2 x Seagate BarracudaGreen 2TB Hds in RAID
Power: PSU Seasonic X750 Gold 750W

CFS3 Configuration

There are at least two: Com-Central.net and Regshanger.net, The Garage Corner.

They are different but you need a CFS3 "expert" to explain why. Good Luck!
 
config settings

Well I assume someone messes with the config other than not showing intro film??:wavey:

I have some config settings which I've uploaded at SOH - prob under cfs3 other. Includes config settings and other bits for ETO 1.50. There have also been threads around z bias. I have been trying some radically altered z bias settings based on some old threads but have not been too systematic about it across my six or seven installs.

HH reported good things from my uploaded settings.

Also hasn't majormagee included some stuff under the knowledgebase sticky? I really like his Nvidia Inspector settings for supersampling and MSAA. they are here in the threads IIRC the knowledgebase sticky.

Can't wait to build my own rig then i can play at max settings .....a couple a thousand and i can start.Buying all the hardware at the same time.

I have had a look around but unless I'm missing something I can't find anything but the post based on the DX9 SDK. If you know an actual config setting let me know.

Thanks I'll give those a go. While I am here, has anyone worked out how to use multiple monitors with CFS3; I don't mean just one big screen on 3 monitors but say a map on one side monitor and maybe the TAC on another?
 
I notice majormagees composite aircraft texture butget is high (10240). It occurs to me that the high setting might help me with my problem of some textures on airfighter55's vehicles from showing :173go1: Sorry - this post is somewhat off topic.
