Confused about some Add-on programs

So I was just looking around here at this site (http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/) and from what I gather from this forum, that site seems to be the GO TO place for CFS3 Add-on programs. Ive been hearing alot about how the FirePower P-51D is god-like in CFS3. But I am a little confused on which programs I should get.

Do I get this (http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/powerpack/), if I can find it?

Or do I get this? (http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=19)

Or do I need to get both in order to enjoy the full potential of CFS3? All Im really trying to do is get the stock P-51 in CFS3 to its fullest realism and to add a P-40, a B-17, some Zero's into the mix so that I can have some variety in the game.

Also, Im curious to know if the Wings of Power add-on models are compatible with CFS3. Please help me understand the difference between these programs and which ones will help me get to where im wanting to go.
 
Some don't like firepower but I enjoy it..it has some interesting planes,and B-24 and the Lanc...it's worth the money....the atomic bomb effect is pretty cool too.
 
The Aircraft Powerpack (http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/powerpack/)
is a package containing FirePOWER for CFS3 along with the Wings of Power packages for FS2004 and FSX. As a bonus they include the P-51D for CFS3. This package may be hard to find as they are no longer shipping it to stores.

FirePOWER (http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=19) is a stand-alone package of aircraft and effects for CFS3. This DOES NOT INCLUDE the P-51D Mustang.

As for other payware add-ons for CFS3 there are only a few out there. There are also plenty of FREE add-ons for CFS3 that are just as good, if not better, than any payware.
 
Well If you can, get the Aircraft Power Pack since it comes with Firepower and the P51

The Wings of Powers 1 airplanes are not compatible with cfs3 but they come in Firepower anyways

So is there a way I can get JUST the Firepower P-51 since the WoP isnt compatible with CFS3?
 
There is a couple other places to get P-51's for CFS3.
AvHistory is one.

You have to register with them and make sure you add their AvHistory_WepPak_041708 to your Install, or you can just add the ETO addon which already has the weppak added. It makes another CFS3 install but with the effects and scenery, etc. it is worth the price of FREE!

Yeah ive already tried some of the AvH files and I couldnt get them to install correctly. I tried to install their P-40 and Zero on my CFS3 and it made the game crash almost everytime.

But I do have the mudpond flight dynamics installed and it works great lol

strange, did you install the weapons pack? and if so do you think you did it correctly?

Yeah i installed the weapons pack too and it still didnt work but i suppose i can always try again.

I got the 3.1 update from the microsoft cfs3 site a few weeks ago but i didnt know about the other updates. where can i get those?
