Congratulations to Spain!

Yep, the best team won. And its a pity we weren't the best team this evening.
Robben had the chance to score twice. He should at least had scored one.

But our best man was the goalkeeper. That should say enough.

Cheers,
Huub

I know that some people in Amsterdam will be relieved that there will be no ceremony along the canals! Congrats to Spain! I've seen better games, but they were better than the Dutch.

I agree I have seen better games but it was a fair win! Congrats to Spain on this one.

It's shame that the Dutch coach told them that the only way they could win was to kick the Spanish off the park, because when they did start to play, Holland were very dangerous.

I know they complained it was all the English referee's fault, but to be honest, most referees would have red-carded de Jong and the thug van Bommel well before half-time !

I am sorry that the Dutch lost. I thought it was a good, but slightly rough game; reminding me of the games between the Northern Dutch villages on Sunday afternoons in the late 1940's after the supporters had tanked up in the local tavern and started to participate in the games.:bump: Congratulations Spain.:applause:
