Can someone show me which numbers in the contact points section are adjusted to make the tail wheel lower to the ground?

Doug

The third column. Reduce the number to lower the tail.

//0 Class
//1 Longitudinal Position (feet)
//2 Lateral Position (feet)
//3 Vertical Position (feet)
//4 Impact Damage Threshold (Feet Per Minute)
//5 Brake Map (0=None, 1=Left, 2=Right)
//6 Wheel Radius (feet)
//7 Steer Angle (degrees)
//8 Static Compression (feet) (0 if rigid)
//9 Max/Static Compression Ratio
//10 Damping Ratio (0=Undamped, 1=Critically Damped)
//11 Extension Time (seconds)
//12 Retraction Time (seconds)
//13 Sound Type

Can you post the contact points section of the plane in question?

Edit: the attached PDF was published by Jerry "Sparks" Beckwith a while back and contains invaluable info for coding gear points.

The Tailwheel is the first line in the contact points... the convention for longitudinal displacement is negative sign is aft of the model's center and for verticle displacement, increasingly negative extends the point further below the centerline of the model.

I have several models where the tailwheel is the third contact point. It really doesn't matter where it is in the list - it still works as long as it's coded right.

Thanks for your replies kind sirs, I got some help via PM and now the Firefly is behaving better than it ever has. Contact points all good, no longer nose dives, and I got the lights to show in their proper places. What a great community we have.
