These are really a great addition to our Sim as you can see,Pics,one thing,they start on take off and are really thickish on the ground,can they be edited to only come on at height also i can`t get the twin engine aircraft to work by adding the second engine to the effects xpd.
Hoping some one will come up with a answer.

These are the effects added to the aircraft xpd for single engine aircraft.

<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_vapor_trail" PosX="0.0" PosY="0.08" PosZ="0.0"/> <Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_wingtip_vortice_low" PosX="-3.6" PosZ="-0.5" PosY="-0.2" MinVel="33" MaxVel="36"></Effect>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_wingtip_vortice_low" PosX="3.6" PosZ="-0.5" PosY="-0.2" MinVel="33" MaxVel="36"></Effect>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="snd_radiostatichdjfk" PosX="0.00" PosY="0.00" PosZ="0.00" MinVel="-6000" MaxVel="6000"/>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="snd_overspeed" PosX="0.00" PosY="0.00" PosZ="0.00" MinVel="203" MaxVel="6000"/><Effect Type="StartEngine0" EffectName="fx_engstrt" Location="emitter_eng0_exh_r"/>

This is from BoB_do17z

<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_vapor_trail" Location="emitter_exhaust0_out"/>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_vapor_trail" Location="emitter_exhaust1_out"/>

Ankors shaders will control the altitude for onset such as

[HighAltSprite]
tr_condenstrail_basis1.dds=6300|300
tr_condenstrail_basis2.dds=6300|300
tr_condenstrail_basis3.dds= 2500|-1500
vortice_low.dds=1400|-300
vortice.dds=1400|-300

in the TextureMagic.ini

To explain how AnKor's Shaders work on this the 6300|300 means that the contrails will only start to become barely visible at 20,669 ft, and will progressively fade in to be fully in effect at 21,653 ft.

If you would like to adjust this altitude and implementation range to account for changes in weather conditions or time of year you may edit the values of TextureMagic.ini found in the Shaders30 folder.

The 2500|-1500 values are intended to provide wing tip vortexes that only happen in the more humid air of lower altitudes.

In this case the negative value reverses the direction of the fade in so it starts as you descend from 8,202 ft, and slowly becomes fully visible at 3,280 ft.

1400|-300 was for meant to simulate helicopter ground effects for a particular airfield elevation starting full on at the 3,608 ft surface of the runway and fading out by 4,593. ft. (This almost always needs editing to properly match the mission location.)

These can still be combined with the min/max speed value parameters in the xdp effect entry giving full control over the conditions when they are displayed.
