• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Cool Bike

Mines not as worked up as yours. She's a 06 FLHTCI that I got when I retired with 14 miles on her and now she is got over 83,000 and still running strong. Key West to Maine and out to Sturgis and beyond. Wouldn't give it up for anything. Next long trip to the west coast and back. Ride Safe and keep up the great work, it is a pleasure to behold!!!!

My wife has helped me wrench the last three builds. All scorched pistons...rear barrel kept melting the oil ring when I ran the Wisecos. The next bike will be a 110 bagger with mild cams...no pumped up motor. I'll build a trailer for the dragster, paint them both to match and call it good.

I've done long hauls on the FB, but I got to watch it like a hawk on long uphill pulls. I'll wait and see how the S&S top end holds up. The basic problem with the HD barrels and Wiseco is that they manage heat at different rates. Wiseco is a super tight tolerance piston and when they heat they can expand a bit faster than the barrel. The last three failures were in the exact same location in the back barrel. We made yard lighting out of the burned jugs. lol

Some of my best concepts form up while I'm riding. So, I guess I'd have to answer that with an affirmative. :salute:

That's the thing....get out enjoy and let your surroundings help inspire new designs...No matter what they are...
