Copley's P-38 Air File

Hi All,
With all that's going on around here, I hate to be a PIA. Is there a better air file for the P-38? I've tried several others and found them to be pretty much the same. I just feel the P-38 was a better performer than what's out there. Could be wrong though.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Bub, give this a shot for the J/L model. Change the title header in the cfg to whatever you wish. Has dive recovery flaps, which also serve as combat flaps for tighter turns in the horizontal. You may get some elevator flutter around 400-500, but that's just a compressibility effect on the airframe which the P-38 was known for at high speeds. I didn't want to edit this out of the equation.

Bub,

Pen32Win did some mods for me a while back that took the FS9 junk out of the airfile and fixed the AI issues. You could give these a try as well.

Note to Rami/Capt Kurt

I just tried the download link I put in the response above & discovered a bad link. Hope we can fix it, or maybe CK fancies updating her?:boxing:

Thanks Unc, Just for the helluv it I tried the link. Worked for me. I'll give them a try also.

Hi All,
Just taking a moment to thank all who helped me out with this "problem". I'm still trying them all out and having a lot of fun flying the aircraft. Again, thanks for taking the time.
