Correcting contact points (again) with AvHistory light effects.

The moling problem, as Clive discussed a long time ago, is due to errors in the model where the undercarriage parts are not correctly named and organised in the model hierarchy. Corrado discovered how to hack a model’s .BDP file and get around this and there certainly used to be hacked versions for some aircraft, but he didn’t share how this was done. Unfortunately.
 
After a bit of experimenting I managed to adjust the contact points and the compression ratio to suit my requirements, plane takes off and lands without any strange visuals

Thank you so very much ! A long standing problem found ! Please, fill us in on the way to fix this in layman's terms . Will try this out on the P-40 given. Thanks so much for looking into this and cracking the code ! Regards , Scott

After reading and taking in those threads then its just a case of -

Change cfg file

Delete bdp file

Load game

Check aircraft

Rinse and repeat as required until you have the result you need.

Its not hard just time consuming
