Couldn't we enable crosswind runways?

One thing I really miss from FS9 is enabling crosswind runways with ATC control. Is there a technical reason this coundn't be accomplished in FSX?
 
No its the same procedure, Create multiple runways a set angle apart make them unlandable and save, Pit though te atc still mention them it wouldnt be so bad if they didnt.
 
I use mytraffic X, and it fixes all of that. ATC will keep you on an airfield's major runways, but you can ask for any runway and get it.
 
There's AFX files out there enabling crosswind runways, but they're only avaible for a bunch of bigger airports.
