Couple of questions.

General interest more than anything.

a) Is there supposed to be surround-sound of some type?

b) Is random engine malfunction/failure modelled?

I'm curious about the sound. I wear headphones and all the explosions from the front can only be heard in my left ear. Naturally, I keep looking left to see what's going on, but not much ever is.

Check your audio-settings, may need to put them to "Headphones" or play with surround-sound and suchlike.

I can hear OFF playing through my rear speakers, but none of the sounds are positional other than across the front speakers. So no audible warning when bullets come from behind unfortunately.

If CFS3 has surround sound on the box, then so does OFF. We have made no changes to sound rendering. Just changed the actual sounds.

Engines do fail but we have added no special code to enhance it for WW1. We could do though...

Unexplainable engine failures don't exist, problem is we normally don't determine the cause until it's to late. It was definately part of Phase 1 & 2. I got pretty good at Dead Stick Landings. Good Question . . ARE they in BHaH

That would be a nice extra :jump:

I can help with information, as I have done some research into WWI engine reliability...
