Hello all.
I was looking at the viability of re vamping all the older simtech models, and I will eventually get them all done. The 1st main upgrades will be as follows.
Beech 18
Beech 17
Spad Ixx

The others I will work on over time and release them to you. The reason is that the 2 Beech's are very well built already and I have gigs of material on them to warrent a huge up grade for both of them.
The Spad may seem strange to you but the reason for the projeect on this one is that way back when i released this one I made a big mistake and released Beta 4 instead of beta 11. Some how the files were completley mixed up and I got the worng one released, the actual spad that was supposed to go out is far far more detailed then the one I released.

The 2 beechs and the Spad will be pay ware, but the price onthem is set pretty low.
The Beech 17 --> $7.oo Usd
The Beech 18 --> $7.oo Usd
The Spad ------> $5.oo Usd

They will all come in around 20 liveries each with 2 differant interiors.
With a lot of historicle reading and paint kits and alot of neet stuff.

I set the price so every one could get one, and they will only ever be available from Cr1. Im not spreading my addons all over the net, just at my site is where they will be.

As for the other big upgrades the only other ones that will be pay ware will be the Do 335 2 seater, the P39 aircobra, and the Fw190D. The reason they will be low cost pay ware is that they will be completly new builds from scratch. So they in truth will be brand new models.
The Claudes will be payware as well, for the same $7.oo price range.

The price cap on single plane releases is set at $10.oo Usd

Multiple plane packs or expansions are cap set at $15.oo Usd

Im trying to keep the price reasonable and the wife happy with all the time I spend on this stuff...lol

All of the projects as they sit now will be free. Pretty soon all the free Promo addons will be available from teh new Cr1 site, those will allways be free and I wont pull them either.
And Im hopeing to get permision from real good free ware designers to support them in hosting their addons as well.

This will allow me to keep the site fresh and fun and pay for the hosting and bandwidth.

The site is set up with T3 bandwidth and can handle huge amounts of transferr.

I really want to move onto new projects and get you guys new planes.

thanks for the HU, great stuff at great prices, chances are I'll buy them all, if not most. I'm already thinking ahead and wondering what the payment options will be :d. That Dornier will be mine, lol.

payment options will be pretty flexable. We are goingto go with Pay pal so any cc card is ok.
There will also be a form you can use for cod orders if you want. On the form you can put in as many planes as you want and the web site will calcualte the total for you. Then you print it out and get a money order and send it to the cr1 office and when we get it we send you a down load link to recieve your new addon.
For Euro folks we are trying to set up a debit transaction set up so they can use thier debit cards.
We are also talking to MACS and 7 Eleven stores and game card companies so you can go and get a standard game card at Macs or 7 eleven or Walmart and you can use it to get planes from us as well.

There will be a points system for loyal return customers. If you buy a certain amount of addons you get a certain amount of points. So for example if we have 10 planes on the site for sale, and you buy eight, you would have accumulated enough points to get that last two for free, just put in your registered id and then you get to pick any plane or planes you want..

We will set that so that there are always 2 addons left so you dont get stuck with a 1000 points and we dont have a new addon for you...lol
that would be a pain.
Im working on lots of new ideas for getting planes into fliers hands with out breaking their beer money stash...hehe


Thats a few ideas I have at the moment. Im trying to get the site and products ready for a Feb1/10 launch. I need that much time just to get the 1st 3 planes ready.
Im trying to get the distribution permisions to 2 Combat flight sims as well and a Civil avaition flight sim so you could buy some games from us too.
I will talk to M$ about fs9 and fsx as well so new folks can get going easily as well.
