After a two year hiatus, I'm in the process of moving FSX over to my new computer. I installed it and flew it once. I think I screwed up the graphics settings. From what my little pea brain can remember, fixing this is merely a matter of recopying one file.

Is this correct? If so, what is it and where do I get the original?

Thanks!

I had a similar thing happen....I just did a FSX repair, and it was fine.....
You might try that....

You can also try deleting the FSX.cfg file. On a Windows 7 machine, the location will be:

C:\Users\your windows user account\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

Delete it and then start FSX, a new file will be created.

Hope this helps,

I tried the second idea figuring that was the quickest way. It loaded properly. However I ran into the same situation as before. I selected Free Flight and it hung up and crashed. I'll have to try the fix.
