Crashing into invisible walls

Anyone know what would cause a game crash on switching to VC? Only tried it on two aircraft, and one it took two times to make it happen then had to scoot. It first happened when I was investigating a new aircrafts panel then it happened on another that always worked fine.:isadizzy:

Probably a scenery problem. I have had problems with a freeware Beale AFB that has a stealth building in the middle of a taxiway.

Before I rebuilt my computer, my old system was barely adequate to run FS9 at 15-20 FPS on a good day. The sim would often hang up when I shifted views, like from VC to chase or chase to 2D panel. And not just crash to desktop but total lock-up, I'd have to reboot. Is this what you're experiencing?

The more I think about it I come back to a gauge. I need to try some different scenarios to make it happen again. Never happened until I tried a new aircraft so I also need to check that out. I keep a back-up of gauges for just this reason.
