CSF3 crashing on Windows 7

Everytime I start up CSF3 it crashes after 10-20 seconds in the main menu of the game. No error comes up.

I installed it with compatibility mode with XP SP2 and always run it as the Administrator. All my drivers are up to date also. I have a ton of games and this is the only one that does this.

I also tried the CSF3win7.exe as labeled up top. Also ran the cfs3config.exe didn't work.

Windows 7 64bit
AMD64 3800+
ATI Radeon 4870 512mb
4 gigs RAM

i have also a win7 x64
patched 3.1 and 3.1a
i am running cfs3 with xpSP3 compatibility and as admin
oleacc.dll deleted (else dont work in multiplayer mode)

It's most likely just a problem with the particular aircraft it's trying to load in the starting menu screen. (Sound file, weapon loadout, etc.)

Under Win7/64 I'm usually running CFS3 set to XP-SP3 compatibility and "run as admin". Usually it works fine. But I have many troubles as for my old asus-board there aren't any WIN7 drivers around. I ended up in dual-booting with XP, where everithing works as it should.

I see you also have an AMD64, is it a socket 939 too? I have a AMD64 / 4200 running on a ASUS 939-socket board.

Cheers
