A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 1 Aircraft Add-Ons

Description: The Curtiss P-40K was the P-40E with an upgraded engine. The increase in engine power greatly improved performance at low altitudes. The lack of an improved supercharger meant that high altitude performance remained unimpressive. The greater torque effect reduced directional stability which was eventually addressed by lengthening the tail on the K-10 amd K-15 models. The older supercharger allowed much higher throttle settings at low altitude which made this the highest performance P-40 at low altitudes.

Paint schemes are included for USAAF units in the Aleutian Islands and in China.

Let me know what you think of this aeroplane.

Enjoy!

- Ivan.
