The Curtiss P-40N/Hawk 87W was the last production version of the P-40 series. Revised and Simplified Equipment made the P-40N lighter than earlier versions which along with an improved supercharger gave better overall performance.

In British service the P-40N was known as the Kittyhawk Mk.IV.
Paint scheme is for a typical mid-war USAAF aircraft.
