Czech Trees

Thought it might be nice to get the Aero Vodochody LKVO home into FS...

It's a FS2002 scenery although FS2004 compatible.
It uses a tree library I clearly don't have.
Any ideas?

I dont im afraid, but each of the scenerys i link'd to use a tree library ive never seen else where, maybe download one, open up its texture folder and copy/paste tree textures into the texture folder of LKVO, they all start with the prefix- vf_. Maybe that'll work.
cheers ian

Edit, just ran the read-me through google translate and came up with this
-For the proper functioning you have in your FS20 ** / texture textures installed trees from Ing.arch.Petra Bednáøe and Airport 2.xx
There are Airport tex's in the scenery i sujested, so maybe just copy all tex's into LKVO folder,
cheers again ian

Hi W7,
I know Ian gave you the answer.

Alternatively if you have any problem getting the texs, the trees needed are part of the Fs2000/20002 textures, if you have access to either of these sims import from them.

Hello,

Unfortunately I can not solve this problem.

Excellento!

I downloaded LKCV, and added the trees into the LKVO texture folder, and voila!

Many thanks Ian.

Shessi: Somewhat to my surprise, I do have an original disk set for FS2002 Pro...couldn't find the textures, though, I assume they're in a cab file somewhere?

SORRY FOR THE HIJACK: Wing, how did you get the wingtip vapor to work on the L39? I tried using the effect from my flylogic F5, but wasn't able to get it to work without the lights on.....

WZ,
Glad you and Zsolt have sorted it out.

In answer yes they would be. I don't know which one, but you could install it, copy the whole texture file and then un-install Fs2002. Then put all the textures into the Fs9 texture folder (don't over-write any that are already in there). So if you get any old scenery from Fs2000/2002/CFS2 in the future then you hopefully will have the texs.

Cheers

I'd be very careful about that - inflating the main texture folder with legacy textures, you stand a good chance of slowing the sim down.
And I'm not sure how well FS2002 textures co-exist with newer stuff.
Best left in the scenery folder that needs them I reckon...
