Damage

Ok I seen in many post people talking about seeing damage/flames on planes.

I know you wont see any if you have the aircraft model set to high res. but even with normal res setting I have yet to see any damage other then some smoke.

Is there a sitting that I am missing ?

Most of the planes I've sent down have been Out of Control....or lack of Control. I have seen three flamers from up close...saw the flames erupt at close range on Nieuport 17s as I passed them while they were at the top of a reconversent {sp?} turn. Passed them and didn't see them flame all the way down, but heard the crash and got the destroyed info. And I've had one explode just after a head-on pass.

You really need to hit them in the engine for a flamer. This is hard to do from the rear. The best time is when the target is in a near stall at the top of a reconversant turn {or whatever they call that climb, stall, rubber turn reversal}.
