I don't know the how of it, but Malinowski did this with his P-47s judging from his readme files. So I think it be a possibility.

Quote:

"Each P-47D aircraft was built from a stock CFS3 visual model and converted to CFS2 standards. Many additions and changes were made, including repainting textures as required. Each aircraft actually existed and was flown by the pilot and assigned to the theatre as indicated above".

K. Malinowski's Junkers Ju-88s were also constructed (or adopted) in that manner.

K. Malinowski's Ju-88 and P-47 used the source files that came with gmax. Jaycee's ju-87 is using Mike Wholaver's Ju-87G gmax source file that can be found here at SOH.

funny that's what I'm been saying i would do with the IL-2 aircraft use the CFS3 textures make the IL-2 planes work with that with damage textures and covert them to CFS2 and give you guys the Gmax source +________+ the bad part is I need the blasted IL-2 1946 game witch I do have a way to get just now it's just gonna take a wail to get it XP
