With Christmas coming up, I can see where this could be a real problem.

The newest virus circulating is the UPS/Fed Ex Delivery Failure. You will receive an e-mail from UPS/Fed Ex Service along with a packet number. It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such-and-such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy
attached. DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS!

Pass this warning on to all your PC operators at work and home. This virus has caused Millions of dollars in damage in the past few days.<o:p></o:p>

Snopes confirms that it is real.

Thanks for the HU. I'll treat it like all the $1,000 Wal Mart gift certificates my friends have been sending me.

Very good warning. My Mom fell for this unfortunately a few months back, and I spent the better part of a day getting the crap off her computer, all the while cursing the $*%*%^^* pieces of #*$%& that put this thing out there!

This is why I do not open e-mails that I do not know where they came from, and I get tracking numbers directly from friends/family. Thank you for the heads up though. I hope this helps someone avoid it.

...I received (in zip file no less) a few days ago an email labeled "DHL-mailing-label-id N2573." I have no clue what that's about. Needless to say,...it got deep six'ed.

Yes, I also received the FEDEX email yesterday, but like Brad, I just deleted it completely off of my computer. It also had a zip file on it. Real cute....:angryfir:

+1.
The great unwashed who should not own a computer will still get caught out and wreak havoc on their friends.

This really isn't new, it surfaced two years ago. I guess with the holidays approaching and all the packages being shipped, those who wish to infect computers are using this route again.
